This unique parade by Elkland Art Center is a walk-in parade. Everyone is invited to bring costumes and decorations to the parade. Life-sized puppets are a highlight every year.

Emergency vehicles of all sizes will parade through the downtown area honoring firefighters, rescue squads, police and sheriff’s departments from Wilkes and surrounding counties. After the parade, sit back and enjoy the annual fireworks display from Memorial Park. Bring your lawn chairs or a blanket and spend the evening.

Enjoy a small town parade, free watermelon and music in Downtown Boone. Fireworks will take place 3o minutes after dark at Clawson-Burnley Park.

Enjoy the most spectacular fireworks show in the High Country! It's one of the most popular Summer events in the mountains. Spend the day at Tweetsie Railroad. The Park is open from 9 am to 9 pm on the Fourth. There is NO charge for parking. Fireworks at 9:30. Take advantage of the optional dinner and VIP Fireworks viewing in the Hacienda. An all-you-can-eat buffet will be served with all the trimmings. Don't miss out! Availability is limited. Get your wristband at the Ticket Office. $20 for Adults and $15 for Children age 3-12 (in addition to Admission fee). Enjoy fireworks under the stars at 9:30 pm after the park closes.
