Jefferson to launch Mountains to Coast bike tour

JEFFERSON ? Cycle North Carolina has announced the route for the 19th annual Mountains to Coast bike ride for Sept. 30 through Oct. 7, and Jefferson has been scheduled as the host town to kick off the trip.
The cycle will begin its full-service, cross-state ride on Sept. 30 at Family Central Park in Jefferson.
