Sherrie is a native of Ashe County, a mom, and active in her church and community. She is currently serving on the Ashe Chamber Board of Directors and tourism committee as well as youth mentoring. Sherrie began her Real Estate career in 1990 and quickly became a firm Broker-in-Charge and Vacation Rental Manager. She is the owner and founder of 4 Seasons which began in 2002.  Walt Petersen has called the High Country home for the past 32 years, moving to area shortly after honeymooning in Ashe County with his “bride” Dee in the summer of 1980. Walt began his real estate career in 1987 and has earned the GRI, CRS, and SFR, professional designations. He has been real estate business owner, Broker in Charge, General Sales Manager, and also has a resort marketing and management background. Walt was President of the Ashe County Board of Realtors in 2006 and he has also served as President of the Board for Hospice of Ashe County, Ashe Memorial Hospital Foundation, and Ashe Habitat For Humanity. He has been a member of the Board of Ashe County Homes Builders Association and Ashe County Chamber of Commerce (2008 to present), and the Tourism Development Committee.
