Definitely a place we want to revisit. It was beautiful weekend trip. House was wonderful, the deck and view from the deck was beautiful. Weather was amazing. Everything about the house, space, surroundings was just totally amazing.
This home was the perfect destination for our family of 6 adults and 1 infant! Each couple had their own room and level of the house. Close to Boone and West Jefferson, as well as about 15 minutes from access to the South Fork of the New River. If the weather is bad or you want to stay at the house, there are endless activities to keep the entire family entertained. The kitchen is well stocked and made it easy to prepare all three meals each day. We will definitely be back in the future!
Our stay at A Deer Haven was bliss! The cabin was clean, comfortable and well appointed. Great views of Elk Knob and the surrounding area was very tranquil. Wonderful opportunity for birding on the deck - and watching the deer graze through the back yards. Hot tub was perfect and helped after lots of hiking, tubing and bike riding. The cabin itself is laid out to allow privacy for all guests but ample common areas to gather. We really did not want to leave!
Amazing Stay in the Heart of the Mountains! Our stay at this charming cabin in the mountains was nothing short of magical. The location is perfect—peaceful and secluded, yet conveniently close to West Jefferson little town. The cabin itself was spotless and beautifully decorated, blending rustic charm with modern amenities. We especially loved the cozy fireplace and the spacious deck with breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains and creek. Waking up to the serene sounds of nature and enjoying our morning coffee while soaking in the scenery was a highlight of our trip. The host went above and beyond to ensure our comfort, providing clear directions. Whether you're looking for a relaxing retreat or an adventure-filled getaway
It was an awesome cabin in the woods. Everything was great, the beds were very comfortable. We had to walk down hill to the river which was a little steep. Overall, I’d love to stay here again. It’s the perfect spot for me because I love being in the mountains! You could sit out on the deck and watch people float down the river and just sit there and listen to the river and the mountains. Great place to stay! Thank you so much. The town of Lansing is awesome. They have an awesome park there and a dog park. Everyone is so nice there. We’ll definitely be back.
All Decked Out Vacation Stay
We had a great family long weekend at All Decked Out in Ashe County, NC. The house was amazing. Well decorated, clean and inviting. At the same time it was overlooking the South Fork of the New River which made for some relaxing time out on the many decks this home has. We would definitely stay there again and I highly recommend this home to anyone looking for a peaceful mountain get-away. Downtown West Jefferson was less than 20 minutes away
Wonderful vacation
This property has everything that you can ask for! The size and layout was perfect for 8 of us. The wrap around deck has beautiful views of the river and water access is practically in your front yard. The house was extremely clean and comfortable. It was close enough to town that it's an easy drive to the grocery store yet the location offers peace and tranquility. We absolutely loved our stay and will definitely be booking again!
